Our New Design




We have a new house design. After our awesome time in Canberra with Andrew & Leanne, talking to Tom Chen & Frank Thomas, we have come up with our new design which, we believe has passive solar and thermal mass properties. We have a few changes, which are going though our drafts person, Ken at Gordons Drafting. At the moment but should have our plans finalized by the end of the week and then into Bega council.

    I love the new layout. Looks amazing. Where is the internal thermal mass??

    We are trying to create the floor as the thermal mass. From what we have been reading, we are using an eco crete for the foundation and then using a natural stone right over the top. This should draw any excess heat during the day & release it over the night. Hopefully this theory will pay off. How is your house going? Have you moved in?
